The College of Agricultural Engineering and Post Harvest Technology CAEPHT was established by CAU in the year 2006 to address the issue of shortage of trained manpower human resource in the disciplines of agricultural engineering and post harvest technology besides other issues, pertaining to natural resource management, farm mechanization, post-harvest technology, processing & value addition, utilization of renewable sources of energy, creation of agro-industries etc. in the region.

HPI was established in 1990 with the idea of exploring the possibilities of utilizing the abundant resource of rare medicinal plants available in the Himalayan region. The Himalayan Pharmacy Institute is the pioneer institution conducting Pharmacy courses in the State. It started the Diploma course in Pharmaceutical Sciences in the year 1990 and Degree course in Pharmaceutical Sciences in the year 1997.

The Sikkim Manipal College of Nursing is one of the constituent college of Sikkim Manipal University was established in July 2001 for imparting the four year generic B.Sc. Nursing Programme to Sikkim and other North Eastern states in particular and of other states of India in general.

Sikkim Manipal College of Physiotherapy SMCPT was established as a constituent college of Sikkim Manipal University offering Bachelor of Physiotherapy course program since 2001 and Master of Physiotherapy course program since 2009 onwards. The SMCPT is duly accredited by the Indian Association of Physiotherapists for both the course programs. The clinical department of physiotherapy is affiliated with Central Referral Hospital, a teaching hospital of Sikkim Manipal University. OUR MISSION

Loyola College of Education is a Catholic, private (Minority) institution situated at Namchi, the South district of Sikkim in a sprawling and picturesque ten acres of land at the foothills of the Himalayas. It was started in response to the request of the Government of Sikkim and is named after St. Ignatius of Loyola, the Founder of the Society of Jesus.

The Harkamaya College of Education is a constituent college of Rhenock Educational Society, fully Self Financed in nature. The college is located in Samdur, Tadong, Gangtok. This college has come into existence in the year 2003 as a passport to the prospective teachers. The college is affiliated to Sikkim University (Central) and recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
