Khelhoshe Polytechnc Atoizu KPA was established on 14th September 1972 as nagaland Polytechnic to serve the needs of the state of Nagaland, which till then had no Polytechnic. Initially the polytechnic was under the State Council for Technical Education, Assam, and it offered diploma programs in three disciplines, namely Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineering.
