Ghatal Rabindra Satabarsiki MahaVidyalayaHistorically, in the pre-independence era, Ghatal PS and Chandrakona PS remained in Jahanabad Arambagh sub-division in Hooghly district and were included in Midnapore district in 1872. After the establishment of Ghatal sub-division in 1876, Ghatal PS and Chandrakona PS came under Ghatal sub-division and Daspur PS later on came under it in 1877.
