Govt. Degree College, Sopore was founded initially as in intermediate college in 1951 and was upgraded as a degree college in 1963. It is the biggest co-educational institution in the valley of Kashmir. The college is situated 55 Kms. away north of Srinagar in semi-urban town of Sopore commonly called an ‘Apple Town’. The college possesses an area of 14 acres and now is sandwiched from all sides by human habitation.

The Engineering & Technology curriculum at ASU help the students to master problem-solving skills and techniques of engineering design through the study of basic and advanced engineering sciences. The Computational Science curriculum, on the other hand, inculcates in its students the acumen to identify, analyze and solve complex computer and application-related problems.

School of Engineering & Emerging Technologies earlier famous with the name Institute of Engineering & Emerging Technologies IEET was established in the year 2002 by a society named Center for Advanced Studies in Engineering CASE, with a deep commitment to promote and propagate quality technical education. The School has been offering following Under Graduate, Post Graduate & Doctoral courses.

Named after the late Govind Ballabh Pant, a great genius, educationist and statesman of his time, this College came into existence in July, 1959. It was formally inaugurated on 11th November, 1959 by Raja Bajrang Bhadur Singh of the Bhadri State, the then Lieutenant Governor of Himachal Pradesh, Situated on the left bank of the legendary river Satluj, the College Campus is quite by the National High-Way No. 22 about 130 km, away from the historical Shimla town.

Ever since its inception in 1965, netaji Subhash Chandra bose memorial Government College, hamirpur has progressively emerged as one of the leading institution of higher learning in himachal Pradesh. The college has been accredited with ‘B++’ grade by national accreditation and assessment council (NAAC).

Sharing its boundary with International Cricket Stadium, having a clear view of majestic Dhauladhars and dark rain-rich Monsoon clouds, gurgling streams and towering White Mountains, Government Post Graduate College, Dharamshala, the college of excellence, carries a long magnificent history of its own and the institution is now eighty four years old. The foundation stone of the college was laid by Sir Louis Dane, the then Lt. Governor of Punjab on 4th May, 1912.

Government College Chamba was established in in the year 1958. The College is affiliated to Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. GC Chamba was accredited with ‘B+’ grade by NAAC in August 2016. Yet another addition to the echelons of well-established Government College Chamba, has been setup with the single minded perseverance of carrying forward the legacy of its parent organization – that of being an institute which is a compendium of holistic education and over all development of a child.

The Hope Foundation's Education Division commenced with the establishment of the Finolex Academy Of Management & Technology FAMT which is the first Engineering College at Ratnagiri on the west coast of Maharashtra.
