Colleges in Mizoram

​The Govt. Khawzawl College initially named as Khawzawl College Khawzawl is located in the North eastern part of Khawzawl town. It is 40 Kms away from District Headquarters of Champhai District, 160 Kms from Aizawl, the capital of Mizoram and 70 Kms from Myanmar Border. The Khawzawl College is having an area of land 9.30 Bhigas in its own name. The College was established in 1985 as a co-educational institution.

The college is named after J Thankima. It was started in 1992, it was upgraded to Deficit Grant-in-aid Status with effect from 2002 and it became a Government College with effect from 2007. J Thankima College is affiliated to Mizoram University.

Founded on 2nd May 1990 Govt. Aizawl West College is a single faculty institution that primarily aims to impart college education in academic atmosphere for deserving students.

J. Buana College, Lunglei is situated in Mizoram State. The College of Teachers Arts , Aizawlwas started and now in a good condition also. The College of Arts have the hostel facilities and all other infrastructures. College of Teachers Arts , Aizawl, College of Teachers Arts , Aizawlprovide Bachelor degree courses and diploma courses in Arts.
