National Institute of Technology, Sikkim is one among the ten newly sanctioned NITS by the Government of India in 2010 under the 11th Five year Plan. It is being established in the Barfung Block, Ravangala Sub Division of South Sikkim. It is managed by the NIT Sikkim Society registered under the Societies Act.
