Sreekrishnapuram V.T. Bhattathiripad College under the management of 'Sree Sankara Trust' started functioning in December 1982 at the 'Agrasala' of Pachayil Temple. The college is named after Sri. V.T. Bhattathiripad who is acknowledged as one of the pioneers of Social revolution in Kerala. This is the Second college run by Sree Sankara Trust the first being the Sree Sankara Vidyapeetom College at Perumbavoor.
