Nehru Memorial Government Degree College is situated in Jogipet of Medak district in Andhra Pradesh. Basically Jogipet is an extension of old village Andole and both these villages are twin villages with an agrarian economy. Historically Jogipet was part of the Nizam state ruled by Asafjahi dyunasty. The political awareness of the people was so high that the first Andhra Maha Sabha conference of 1930 was held at Jogipet and was presided over by Suravaram Pratap Reddy.

Indur Institute of Engineering & Technology,is a brainchild of INDUR Educational Society. The society was founded in 1988 with a dresm to establish and nurture institutions of excellence offering value based and quality education in Management, Arts, Science, Engineering and Technology. The society has so far established institutions of higher learning at Bodhan in Nizamabad District of Telangana to conduct courses in Computer Science, Education and Vocational Training. The Government degree College, Siddipet, Medak district, Andhra Pradesh volunteered to be assessed by NAAC, Bangalore and sent its Self Study Report (SSR) to NAAC on 27th December, 2004.
