Toc H is an international organization with its head-quarters in the U. K. Beginning from the humble but humane Endeavour of a few philanthrops to rehabilitate the mortally wounded young soldiers in the Belgian war- front during the First World War, Toc H emerged as a service organization in 1915. Today, Toc H stretches its helping hand to the physically challenged, fatally sick and socially under-privileged segments of humanity across cultures and continents all over the world.

School of Engineering was established in 1978 for offering part-time MTech. Programmes in the major deciplines of engineering viz. Civil, Mechanical,Electrical and Chemical Enginnering for practicing engineers in and around Cochin. Research activities were introduced in 1981 with PhD Programmes.The School introduced BTech.

Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering & Technology was established at Kalady in the year 2001 with the aim of providing value added technical education with a flair of professional excellence and ethical values.The college is run by ADI SANKARA TRUST, a registered trust which has carved a niche in educational arena by running Sree Sankara College and Sree Sarada Vidyalaya,both at Kalady.
