The Chajju Ram College of Education, Hisar is one of the best colleges of education in Haryana. It was inaugurated on 6 April 1968 by the Governor of Haryana – Shri B.N. Chakravarti. It was the fifth college of education in Haryana. As the region around the city of Hisar was educationally backward, the rural elite of the region, led by Justice D.S. Lamba (1929-76), decided to open a teachers’ training college for the rapid spread of education in the region.

Govt. Polytechnic, Hisar was established in 1992 with the aim to enhance employability of the youth by equipping them with latest technical skills for suitable employment through technical education.
