Welcome to the website of Himalayan Pharmacy Institute. HPI was established in 1990 with the idea of exploring the possibilities of utilizing the abundant resource of rare medicinal plants available in the Himalayan region. The Himalayan Pharmacy Institute is the pioneer institution conducting Pharmacy courses in the State. It started the Diploma course in Pharmaceutical Sciences in the year 1990 and Degree course in Pharmaceutical Sciences in the year 1997.

The Rhenock Educational Society established in 1990 started a two year Diploma course in Pharmaceutical Science with an intake of 60 students.

Sikkim Government College, Tadong was established in 1977. It is an affiliated college. The college is leading a important role to promote value based education especially to the financially backward students. All academic activities are carried out in accordance with the prescribed syllabi, examination schedules and academic calendar of the Sikkim University. The college has state-of-the-art technologies and infrastructure.

Pakim Palatine College,Sikkim is a co-educational Degree College set up in 2004. It is run by the Pakim Palatine Educational Society and is affiliated to Sikkim University since July 2008. In 2009 it introduced a professional course in microbiology. The Harkamaya College of Education is a constituent college of Rhenock Educational Society, fully Self Financed in nature. The college is located in Samdur, Tadong, Gangtok. This college has come into existence in the year 2003 as a passport to the prospective teachers. The college is affiliated to Sikkim University (Central) and recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). It offers one year B.Ed. course from the session 2003 – 04 and one year M.Ed.
