The College Library has been awarding prizes every year to three best students-one each from the three faculties, viz., Arts, Science and Commerce-who secure the highest marks in the T.D.C. First Year Examination. It is also considering presenting awards to three brilliant “readers”, irrespective of any class or shift.

The College has been offering the regular courses in science and arts stream under the Gauhati University along with Assam Higher Secondary Education Council. Birjhora Mahavidyalaya popularly known as Birjhora Science College established in 1986, is affiliated to Gauhati University and offers regular Three-year- Degree Course in Science (B.Sc).
