Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre (AIMS), Kochi invites applications for DM /MCh Programmes for the year 2015.

DM MCh Programmes is conducted by Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre (AIMS), Kochi.

Duration: Three years from the date of commencement of classes Admission to Post Graduate Super Specialty DM/M.Ch Courses in various disciplines at Amrita School of Medicine

DM MCh Programmes Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:

=> MS ENT/MS General Surgery/M.Ch Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery/M.Ch Surgical Oncology/M.Ch Neuro Surgery.

=> For all other speciality MD/MS/DNB degree, registration with Medical Council of India or any of the State Medical Councils

=> Age: Not more than 35 years as on 31st December 2015

=> Candidates should have passed MD/MS degree or DNB in not more than two attempts

=> The MD/MS degree should be from a recognized Medical College included in the Schedules to the Indian Medical council Act, 1956. In both cases, permanent registration either from the Medical Council of India or any state Medical Council is necessary

Application Procedure for DM MCh Programmes:

=> Those who opt for DM/M.Ch Courses will have to pay an amount of Rs.2000/- by way of Demand Draft favouring "Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham", payable at Ernakulam or Kochi

=> For those who opt for DM - Pediatric Cardiology in addition to other DM specialities, will have to pay an additional amount of Rs.1000/-

=> Those who opt only for DM - Cardiac Anesthesia, will have to pay an amount of Rs.2000/-

=> Application form complete in all respects should be sent to: Amrita School of Medicine, The Admission Coordinator, Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, AIMS Ponekkara, P.O, Kochi-682041 (Kerala)

Fee Details:

Application Fee: Rs.2000/- (Rupees two thousand only), application fee to be paid by Online - Net banking/Credit/Debit card

=> Those who intended to opt for DM Pediatric Cardiology, Cardiac Anaesthesia and M.Ch Head and Neck Surgery will have to pay an additional fee of Rs.1000/-

In the twenty short years since its inception, Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences (Amrita Hospital) has grown from a 115 bed specialty hospital to a 1100-bed (490 units) bed super-specialty tertiary care health centre with an attached medical college hospital. On the 17th of May 1998, Amrita Hospital was inaugurated by the then Prime Minister of India, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, in the presence of Her Holiness, Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi.
