Uttarakhand Pre Medical Test 2014 (UPMT 2014) is scheduled to be conducted on May 18, 2014. Candidates who wish to take UPMT 2014 for the admission in state quota seats of Medical and Dental Programs (MBBS & BDS) of the session 2014-15 need to fill UPMT 2014 application form. UPMT 2014 is conducted by Government Medical College, Haldwani.
UPMT 2014 application form process has begun on March 21, 2014 and the last date for sale of UPMT 2014 Application Form and Prospectus is April 17, 2014. Last date of submitting UPMT 2014 Application Form through registered post or by hand is April 21, 2014.
The UPMT 2014 eligibility criteria required by the candidates for appearing in UPMT 2014 entrance exam is as given below –
Candidates must have attained 17 years of age on or before December 31, 2014 or on before the day of admission in the respective medical and dental colleges of Uttarakhand.
The upper age limit of candidates applying for UPMT 2014 is 25 years as on December 31, 2014.
There is relaxation of 5 years for applicants belonging to the reserved category (SC/ST/OBC).
Candidates must have passed HSC/10+2/Intermediate or Equivalent examination in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English from recognized board.
General candidates must have score of 50% (40% for SC/ST/OBC and 45% for General PH Candidates) of the total marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, Biology /Biotechnology in the qualifying examination.
Application form and prospectus are available on cash payment of Rs.1700/- plus 40/- (Postal charges) total Rs.1740/- for General and Backward Class candidates and Rs.1200/- plus 40/- (Postal charges) total Rs.1240/- for SC/ST candidates from 21st March 2014 to 17th April 2014 at the following branches of post offices: 1) Almora, 2) Bageshwar, 3) Chamoli, 4) Joshimath, 5) Rudraprayag, 6) Dehradun, 7) Haridwar, 8) Nainital, 9) Pantnagar, 10), Kashipur, 11) Haldwani, 12) Puri, 13) Kotdwar, 14) Srinagar (Garhwal), 15) Pithoragarh, 16) Champawat, 17) New Tehri, 18) Uttarkashi, 19) Lucknow GPO, 20) New Delhi GPO

UPMT 2014 entrance exam will be conducted on the scheduled date of May 18, 2014 as per the official notification. UPMT 2014 entrance exam will have a question appear consisting of multiple choice questions. The question paper of UPMT 2014 shall have the questions based on Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects studied at HSC/10+2. The duration of UPMT 2014 entrance exam is 3 hours.
Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of marks secured in Uttarakhand Pre Medical Test 2014. However the seats were allotted to the qualifying candidates on the basis of rank in merit list, in various medical and dental colleges of Uttarakhand.
Candidates can purchase UPMT 2014 application form and prospectus from the Uttarakhand post offices on cash payment of Rs. 1700/- for General/OBC category and Rs. 1200/- for SC/ST candidates. Candidates can also purchase the prospectus and application form of Uttarakhand Pre Medical Test 2014 via post by sending request letter and cost of UPMT application form 2014. The cost of UPMT 2014 application form via post is Rs. 1740/- for general/OBC category and Rs. 1240/- for SC/ST candidates
Government Medical College, Haldwani will issue the admit cards to the eligible candidates. You can download UPMT 2014 Admit card from this page, once it’s available. No candidate in any case, can take UPMT 2014 without a valid UPMT 2014 Admit Card.
The results for UPMT 2014 will be declared tentatively by mid June. However the exact date for declaration of UPMT 2014 result is not provided. Thereafter, the counseling sessions will start. We will update the results of UPMT 2014 as soon they are declared.
