Annamalai University, Annamalai Nagar has invited applications for admissions to MBBS and BDS course of Annamalai University session.

Important Note

i) The admission will be based on merit following the Rule of Reservation

ii) The marks obtained by the students in the relevant subjects of the qualifying examination (Higher Secondary) conducted by the Tamil Nadu State Board or other equivalent board, will be the basis for the preparation of the selection list

iii) The application form is common for both MBBS and BDS

How to Apply

The application form is common for both MBBS and BDS. Cost of the application form is Rs 1500/-

The prospectus and application form will be available at the university cash counter and at all the Directorate of Distance Education Study Centres in Tamil Nadu

Application form may also be obtained by post, by sending a requisition letter to the Registrar, Annamalai University, Annamalai Nagar, Chidambaram-608002, along with a demand draft including Rs 50/- towards postage drawn in favour of "The Registrar, Annamalai University"

Candidates are advised to write their name and address on the reverse side of the demand draft

Application form can be sent only by ordinary post and the University shall not be held responsible for non-receipt of Application form

Annamalai University, Annamalai Nagar
The Annamalai University owes its existence to the vision, wisdom, benefaction and philanthropy of Dr. Rajah Sri Annamalai Chettiar. As early as 1920, he founded the Sri Minakshi College at the temple town of Chidambaram. In 1928, the Annamalai University Act was passed by the Madras State (government) and Sri Minakshi College formed the nucleus of this unitary and residential University. With its rural setting and progressive outlook, the seat of this seminary of higher education came to be called Annamalai nagar after its illustrious Founder.
