Application invites for JAM 2015, Joint Admission Test for M.Sc admission 2015.
IIT Guwahati is the Organizing Institute for JAM 2015. JAM 2015 Examination will be conducted ONLINE only as a Computer Based Test (CBT) for all Test Papers. The Indian Institute of Science Bangalore (IISc) and Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) conduct the Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. (JAM) for admission to Integrated Ph.D. Degree Programmes at IISc Bangalore and M.Sc. (Two Years), Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D., M.Sc.-Ph.D. Dual Degree, M.Sc.-M.Tech., M.Sc.-M.S.(Research)/Ph.D. Dual Degree and other Post-Bachelor’s Degree Programmes at IITs.
Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:
=> Un‐Reserved/OBC category Candidates must have secured First class (as declared by the university) in the qualifying examinations and SC/ST and PwD category candidates must have secured second class (as declared by the University) or 50 per cent aggregate marks, without rounding off for admission in IISc Bangalore. For IIT, Un‐Reserved/OBC category Candidates must have secured 55 per cent or 6.0 CPI in a scale of 10, and SC/ST and PwD category candidates must secure minimum of 50 per cent. Admission to the academic programmes in IISc Bangalore and IITs for the academic session 2015‐16 will be made on the basis of all India merit list of JAM 2015.
