ORION-2K26 is a premier national-level technical symposium organized by the Department of MCA at Kongu Engineering College. Situated in Erode, Tamil Nadu, this event brings together students from across the country for a day full of innovation, competition, and celebration. Kongu Engineering College has designed ORION to be a hub of learning and creativity.
Events & Competitions
The symposium features a diverse range of events catering to various technical and creative interests. Participants can engage in Innosell, which includes Paper Presentation, Ideathon, and Marketing. Other highlights include Story2Screen (Use Case Analysis & UI Design), Fix & Flex (Debugging), and Brain Blitz (Quiz). Creative minds will enjoy Reel Rush (Short film), Reboot the Waste (Project Exhibition), Lock & Seek (Treasure Hunt), and Brandit (On-Spot Ad Act).
Workshops & Learning
ORION-2K26 also hosts specialized workshops. The Cyber Security Career Bootcamp is a key attraction. Additionally, the event welcomes open topics for PPT presentations, ensuring inclusivity across all participating departments.
Eligibility & Registration
Eligibility for ORION-2K26 is open to students from a wide array of disciplines including CSE, AIDS, ECE, IT, EEE, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Agricultural, Energy, Metallurgy, Medical, Pharmacy, Arts, Industrial, BioTechnology, MBA, MCA, Commerce, Law, Telecommunication, Physics, Ocean, BioMedical, Mechanics, Textile, Aeronautical, Aerospace, Material, Mining, Automobile, Design, Marine, Fashion, Media, BBA, and Food. The registration fee is nominal at Rs. 200. Certificates will be provided to all participants, adding value to your academic profile.
Accommodations & Logistics
For outstation participants, accommodation can be arranged upon request, though charges are applicable. To ensure easy access to Kongu Engineering College, college buses will operate from Perundurai bustand between 7:30 AM and 8:15 AM on the event day. The venue is located at Thoppupalayam, Kumaran Nagar, Perundurai.
