Introduction to N8N FlowFusion 2026
N8N FlowFusion 2026 is a premier multi-phase technical event organized by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) under the School of Electronics, Electrical and Biomedical Technology at Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education (KARE), Virudhunagar. This event is designed to foster innovation and technical skills among students, focusing on the emerging fields of automation using n8n, artificial intelligence (AI), hardware-software integration, and full-stack development.
The event at Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education aims to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. By combining a one-day hands-on workshop with a rigorous 24-hour hackathon, participants will gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge tools and technologies. The workshop focuses on n8n and AI, while the hackathon challenges teams to develop integrated solutions.
Events & Competitions
The N8N FlowFusion 2026 event is structured into distinct phases to ensure a comprehensive learning and competitive experience:
- Phase 1 (Jan 23, 2026): An online quiz and problem statement selection round. Team leaders are required to attend.
- Phase 2 (Jan 28, 2026): An online submission phase for presentations (PPT) and demo videos, acting as an elimination round.
- Phase 3 (Jan 31, 2026): A one-day hands-on workshop covering AI and n8n tools (Offline Mode).
- Final Round (Jan 31 - Feb 1, 2026): A 24-hour Hackathon starting at 4:00 PM on January 31st and concluding at 4:00 PM on February 1st (Offline Mode).
Eligibility & Registration
Participation is open to teams who successfully pass the elimination rounds. Eligibility criteria state that teams must score 80% and above in Phase 2 to be shortlisted for the workshop and hackathon. Each team must consist of 4 members.
The registration fee is Rs. 150 per participant. Successful participants will also receive 1 EE Academic Credit. The registration deadline is January 23, 2026. Prizes are substantial, with a total pool of Rs. 6,000 distributed as Rs. 3,000 for the 1st prize, Rs. 2,000 for the 2nd prize, and Rs. 1,000 for the 3rd prize.
