Velammal Engineering College proudly presents INSTRAUX’26, a premier National Level Technical Symposium organized by the Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering. Scheduled for January 31st, 2026, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, this event is designed to ignite the spark of creativity and technical prowess in students from across the nation. INSTRAUX’26 serves as a vibrant platform where future engineers converge to showcase their expertise, analytical thinking, and innovation through a diverse array of activities.
Events & Competitions
The symposium features a dynamic blend of technical and non-technical events, ensuring there is something for every participant. For those inclined towards hardcore engineering, the technical lineup includes:
- InnoScript: A Paper Presentation session.
- Projectopia: A Project Presentation competition.
- Brain Battle: A challenging Technical Quiz.
- Watt’s Wrong: A Circuit Debugging contest.
Non-technical events add a layer of fun and camaraderie:
- Hunt for the Hidden: A Treasure Hunt.
- Aura Unplugged: A Music Event.
- Rush and Survive: E-Sports competition.
- Play to Slay: Gaming Event.
Additionally, a hands-on Remote Pilot Training (Drone Workshop) is available for a fee of ₹300. Topics covered include Electronics and Instrumentation Systems, Industrial Automation, IoT Applications, and more. Participants will receive certificates, and exciting cash prizes await the winners.
Eligibility & Registration
INSTRAUX’26 is open to students nationally. To participate, interested candidates must complete their registration on or before January 27, 2026. The registration fee for the symposium is ₹150, while the workshop fee is ₹300. Regarding accommodations, participants are requested to make self-arranged arrangements, though limited guidance will be provided upon request. This ensures that attendees from outside Chennai can plan their visit to Velammal Engineering College smoothly.
