### Event Description

The **Department of Computing Technologies, SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), Kattankulathur**, in collaboration with the **ACM-W Student Chapter, Adhiparasakthi Engineering College, Melmaruvathur**, is organizing a **Hackathon on AI-Driven Robotics and Automation** on **13–14 October 2026**.

The hackathon provides an exciting platform for students to explore and develop innovative solutions in **Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Automation, and Autonomous Navigation**. Participants will work in teams to design, build, program, and demonstrate intelligent robotic systems that address real-world challenges.

Each team will be provided with a robotics kit comprising an **Arduino Uno, IR sensors, ultrasonic sensor, motors, wheels, motor driver, chassis, caster wheel, batteries, and jumper wires**, enabling participants to transform their ideas into functional robotic prototypes.

With a **three-member team format** and **at least one female participant in every team**, the event encourages collaborative learning, innovation, and greater participation of women in emerging technologies. The hackathon is open to students from **SRMIST and other colleges**, providing an opportunity to learn, compete, network, and showcase their technical creativity.

With a **prize pool of ₹10,000**, participants will experience an intensive hands-on journey of **ideation, robotic development, problem-solving, and innovation**, making this hackathon an ideal platform for aspiring AI and robotics enthusiasts.
