Program Overview
M.Sc. (Clinical Psychology) or Master of Science in Clinical Psychology is a Post Graduate Program. Clinical Psychology is an integration of science, theory, and clinical knowledge for the purpose of understanding, preventing, and relieving psychologically - based distress or dysfunction and to promote subjective well- being and personal development. In the year 2020, our Honorable Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Farzana Mahdi, added one more star to Era University by introducing "Department of Clinical Psychology" for clinical studies.
EU offers a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, which is among the most needed and fruitful programs for students. Master of Clinical Psychology is a two- year academic program to demonstrate understanding of, and competency in core clinical skills essential for effective professional practice.
Learning Objective
The objectives of M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology program are:-
- To demonstrate knowledge of the scientific body of information pertaining to personality and individual differences,social bases of behavior, developmental bases of behavior, biological bases of behavior and psychopathology.
- To demonstrate understanding of, and competency in core clinical skills essential for effective professional practice.
- To enhance the ability of students to conduct clinical research in hospital setting and utilize empirical data for clinical practice.
