Selection Criteria

  • The University of Delhi offers admission to PG courses based on two mediums – merit basis for 50% of seats and entrance exam (DUET) for the remaining 50% of seats.
  • Only candidates with a graduation degree from the University of Delhi are eligible for merit-based admission.
  • After registering on the common DU PG admissions portal and submitting the application form, candidates have to appear for DUET.
  • A merit list is prepared based on the marks secured by the candidates in the entrance test.
  • Candidates eligible for merit-based selection can directly register on the DU PG admissions portal.
  • A cut-off list is released by the university based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination/graduation for each college.

  • Once registered, the candidate must fill out the admission form carefully. Personal information like parents’ names, bank details, Aadhar numbers, etc must be filled in carefully.
  • Scanned photos, signatures, and requisite documents of the candidate must be uploaded.
