The TG PGECET 2026 examination will be held from 28 to 31 May 2026. Its application form has released. The Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS PGECET) is a State level Engineering entrance exam organized by JNTUH, also known as Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad. TS PGECET is administered by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH). TS-PGECET Exam Important Dates

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

To apply for TG PGECET, candidates must satisfy the following:

• Nationality: Must be an Indian National.
• Domicile: Must be a resident of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh and satisfy local/unreserved status requirements.
• Academic: Must have a relevant Bachelor’s Degree (B.E./B.Tech/B.Pharm/B.Arch) with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).
• GATE/GPAT Score: Candidates with a valid GATE or GPAT score are exempted from the entrance test but must apply separately for the counseling process.

TS-PGECET Application Process

• Candidates are required to apply for TS PGECET test through Online mode only through the official website https://pgecet.tsche.ac.in/

• The Registration fee should be paid through the payment gateway (Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking / TS Online / AP Online).
• Candidates who are desirous to seek admission are required to apply online. Only those applicants, who apply online before the last date and satisfy the eligibility criteria, will be considered for admission.
• Read all instructions regarding filling up online forms, and relevant information are available on the University website.

TS-PGECET Application Fee

• For General candidates – Rs. 1100/- per test
• For SC / ST / PH candidates – Rs. 600/- per test

TS-PGECET Exam Pattern

• Mode of Exam: Online only i.e. Computer Based Test (CBT)
• Language: English only
• Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions
• Duration: 2 hours
• Number of Questions: 120 questions
• Total Marks: 120 marks
• Negative Marks: No negative marks for incorrect answers.
