Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for admission must meet the following criteria:
- Graduates from any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50 percent marks are eligible.
- Students awaiting their final semester results may also apply, provided they submit their V/VII semester results. All pending papers, including the final semester, must be cleared before July 31, 2024.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have taken any one of the following Common Entrance Tests: XAT, CAT, CMAT, ATMA, TANCET, or MAT.
Application Process:
Step 1: Apply online at www.jim.ac.in Step 2: After online fee payment of Rs.1550/- for application processing and submission, the applicant should take a printout of the filled-in application. Attach self-attested photocopies of the necessary documents and send them via post to the Institute.
Note: Bank charges for online payment are applicable and depend on the bank and payment method. JIM is not responsible in case of any payment failure.

- Recent passport size photograph
- Hall ticket/scorecard of the entrance test (TANCET/MAT/XAT/CAT/CMAT/ATMA)
- For students awaiting final semester results: Mark statements up to V/VII semester. For others: Consolidated mark statement and UG Degree Certificate
- HSC and SSLC Mark statements
- Community Certificate
- Work Experience Certificate (If applicable)
- Attestation Letter from the Parish Priest (For Catholic Applicants Only)
- NRI Candidates: Residential permit issued by the Foreigner Regional Registration Office
Selection Process
The submitted applications will be reviewed for selection by the JIM Admissions Office. Shortlisted candidates will receive Call Letters via email for the JIM selection process. Initial shortlisting will be based on the UG marks.
The selection process will be conducted in phases, depending on the candidate’s date of application submission. Shortlisted candidates will undergo a selection process consisting of a Written Test, Group Discussion, Presentation, and Personal Interview.
The final selection of candidates will be based on the composite score obtained in the JIM Selection Process, along with the scores from the Common Entrance Test(s), percentage in SSLC, HSC, and Undergraduation, as well as Work Experience (if any).
The list of provisionally selected candidates will be published on www.jim.ac.in. Selected students must pay the fees by the stipulated dates.
Selection Process Includes the Following
- Statement of Purpose (SoP): The applicants need to bring a hand-written Statement of Purpose (SoP) for joining MBA.
- JET (JIM Entrance Test): The applicants will appear for a written test. The written test comprises the following components.
- Part A – Aptitude: The questions aim to test the numerical ability, logical reasoning and the ability of the students to interpret the given data.
- Part B – General Awareness: The questions aim to test the awareness level of the students on the contemporary trends.
- Part C – English: The applicants will be asked to write an essay on a given topic.
- Group Discussion: After the written test, the applicants will appear for a Group Discussion.
- Presentation & Personal Interview: After the Group Discussion, every applicant will make a presentation before a panel of two professors on a particular topic which will be given in advance. After the presentation, the applicant will be interviewed personally by the panel.
- Director’s Interview: All the applicants will meet the Director personally with their parents..
Course Fee
- Approximately 8 Lakhs
- You may pay the fees annually.
