About Sri Devraj Urs University

Sri Devraj Urs Medical College has transformed it into a Deemed to be University in the year 2007. Sri Devraj Urs Medical College was started in the year 1986 by Sri Devaraj Urs Educational Trust. The trust has obtained Accreditation by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC, INDIA) and certification by ISO 9001-2000 in the year 2006 for its Medical College. Post Graduate Degree Courses and Diploma Courses are being offered since 1997 in various Clinical, Pre and Para Clinical courses and the degrees awarded are recognized by Medical Council of India.

Sri Devaraj Urs University has an 850 bed Teaching Hospital to accommodate the clinical teaching requirements of undergraduate and postgraduate medical students The hospital has Departments in all specialties.
