PG Programs in Architecture at SPA, Bhopal (Full Time – Two Years)

• Master of Architecture (Conservation) /Master of Conservation
• Master of Architecture (Urban Design)

PG Programs in Planning at SPA, Bhopal (Full Time Two Years)

• Master of Architecture (Landscape)/Master of Landscape Design
• Master of Planning (Urban and Regional Planning)
• Master of Planning (Environmental Planning)
• Master of Planning (Transport Planning and Logistics Management)

Seats Availability

• There are a total of 163 seats across a M. Plan and M. Arch specializations, of which a maximum of 98 seats are to be directly filled up through CCMT, while the remaining 65 seats are to be filled through Direct Admission

Eligibility Criteria

• B.Arch / B. Plan with at least 60% (or 6.5 CGPA) for General/OBC and 55% (6.0 CGPA) in case of SC/ST/PWD candidates in the qualifying degree exam
• JET shall have a written paper based on the basic understanding of the specialization applied for and a viva voce component
• Candidates applying through Direct Admission are not eligible for scholarships even if GATE qualified. GATE scholarship for a maximum of 60% of total seats will be applicable to candidates applying through CCMT Channel only.

Application Process

• Candidates should download the application form from the website www.spabhopal.ac.in
• An applicant shall apply online and submit the hard copy of the filled-in application form along with the self-attested copy of marks sheets of 12th standard and qualifying exam valid GATE/JRF/CEED scorecard, Birth and Caste Certificate, Professional Certificate and Certificates for extracurricular and co-curricular activities
• Application with all documents shall have to be sent in an envelope super-scribing ‘Application for Admission to (name of the program)’ duly mentioning candidate’s name with full postal address and the Registration number generated online so as to reach the Assistant Registrar (Academics), SPA Bhopal, Neelbad Road, Bhauri, Bhopal, Pin Code-462030 Madhya Pradesh,(INDIA) through post/courier/in person

Selection Process

• Admission shall be made through a written test (focused on research methodology and basic analytical ability) to be conducted at SPAB and SPAV. The applicants clearing the written test shall appear for viva voce before the respective Departmental Research Committee of SPAB and SPAV
• The viva-voce shall be attuned to the area of research interest of the candidate and shall be preceded by a brief PowerPoint presentation by the applicant on his/her area of research interest
