Selection Process
Candidates seeking admission to the UG courses at Sri Guru Nanak Dev Khalsa College must clear the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). The final selection will be done through e-counselling conducted by Delhi University on the basis of CUET scores. CUET is divided into the following three sections:
- Section 1 Languages: this further contains two sections, ‘A’ and ‘B’. Section ‘A’ contains 13 languages such as Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, etc. Section ‘B’ contains 20 languages such as French, Spanish, German, Nepali, Persian, etc. For admission candidates must at least appear in one language.
- Section 2 Domain Specific: There are 27 domain specific subjects in this section. Candidates are required to refer to the program specific eligibility criteria in order to select domain specific subjects.
- Section 3 General Test: General test for any UG programme offered by the university where the general test is being used for admission. Candidates must refer to the program specific eligibility criteria for selecting general tests.
Application Process
Candidates applying for UG courses in Sri Guru Nanak Dev Khalsa College can follow the steps mentioned below to register for the CUET Examinations:
- Candidates must first visit the official CUET website - cuet.samarth.ac.in.
- Upon opening the website candidates will find the ‘Register’ tab, they must click on it.
- After reading and understanding the information provided, candidates must hit the ‘Proceed’ button.
- After this, candidates will be directed to the application form. Candidates must fill in the required details carefully.
- After filling the necessary details candidates will have to upload important documents such as signature, photograph, marksheet, etc. Candidates must upload all the required documents.
- Candidates need to pay the application fee at the time of submitting the form or else the Online Application Form will not be considered.
- After submitting the fee, candidates print out the form and save a hard copy for future references.
- Candidates can login to their portals for any new updates, college cutoffs and so forth.
Admission Process
SGND Khalsa College application process is both online and offline and generally begins during the month of June and remains open until July. The candidates need to fill up the form online on Delhi University's website or just visit the offices to fill the form. Admission to the UG programmes is offered based on the applicant's merit in the Class 12 board exam. Candidates meeting the cut-offs are granted admission after proper verification of the required documents.
