Eligibility Criteria
For Polytechnic courses:
- Candidate shall be an Indian National.
- Candidates should belong to the State of Telangana /Andhra Pradesh as defined in G.O.(P).No. 646, Education (W) Dept., dated 10-07-1979 and in the subsequent amendments.
- Candidates should have passed S.S.C. Examination conducted by State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Secondary Education, A.P/TS. such as Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Indian Council for Secondary Education (ICSE), National Institute of Open School (NIOS), Telangana Open School Society (TOSS), A.P. Open School Society (APOSS), X class examination conducted by various State Boards of Secondary Education in India with Mathematics as one of the subjects, and obtained at least 35% marks in the qualifying examination.
- Candidates belonging to NIOS/TOSS/APOSS/CBSE/ICSE/OTHER Examinations recognized as equivalent to SSC by Telangana State SHOULD HAVE PASSED ALL THE SUBJECTS including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, with minimum of 35% Marks in each subject
- Candidates who appeared or are appearing for SSC or equivalent examination being held in March/April-2022, and whose results are yet to be declared can also appear for POLYCET-2022
Age Limit:
- There is no age limit
For Agriculture Course of PJTSAU:
- Candidate shall be an Indian National.
- Candidates seeking admission should produce a certificate(s) from the Heads of Institution(s) that the candidate has studied for a minimum period of 4 years in schools located in Non-Municipal areas during their period of study from 1st class to 10th class (any four years). The relevant information must be filled in the proforma as prescribed in FORM-I and duly signed by the Head of the institution concerned.
- If Form-I is not filled in/duly signed by the concerned Head of Institution or officer along with office seal, the claim of the candidates will be rejected.
- The candidates who have higher education 10+2 or above are not eligible
- As of now, the Diploma courses offered by the University are not equal to Intermediate or any other vocational courses offered by Board of Intermediate education, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

- Candidates belonging to NIOS/TOSS/APOSS/CBSE/ICSE/OTHER Examinations recognized as equivalent to S.S.C. by Telangana State SHOULD HAVE PASSED ALL THE SUBJECTS including Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry with minimum of 35% Marks in each subject.
- In respect of the Diploma Courses offered by PJTSAU, the candidates for admission into Polytechnic Diploma Courses in the PJTSAU shall be required to have completed 15 years of age as on the year of admission with an upper age limit of 22 years (Born in between 31-12-1998 and 31-12-2005).
Application Process
- Eligible Candidates can apply online through the official website www.polycetts.nic.in
- Students can also apply at nearest TS Online or Help line centres, list of which is given on the official website
- First fill the 10th Class Hall ticket No., Year of pass and Date of Birth
- Fill in the Aadhaar UID Number.
- Candidates should fill all the details related to date of birth, particulars, qualification correctly.
- After filling in all the details click on the submit button
Application Fee
- For others candidates :- Rs 450/-
- For SC/ST candidates :- Rs 250/-
