About
This PG Degree in Fashion design from School of Fashion at Renaissance University is a complete package that a fashion industry executive must pursue. It teaches 3-D designing, pattern drafting, garment construction, drafting and constructing tailored garments to meet industry standards, handling of fashion fabrics, usage of industrial equipment and much more is stuffed in the two year PG Degree in Fashion Designing from the house of Renaissance University.
Being a PG level course, the curriculum is a little more comprehensive and also includes modules on product development, sourcing, buying, marketing, retailing and merchandising, to make the pack complete. A promising career is what lies at the end of this course, which can be in the form of a stylist, designer, freelance designer, pattern maker, sourcing assistant, visual merchandiser, visual artist, production designer, or Editor. - B. DESIGN Candidates must have scored 50% (for SC/ST/OBC 45%) marks in aggregate in 12th Standard or an equivalent examination, recognized by State or Central Education Board.

Program Highlights
First year: All expense paid, one month internship on Apparel Design, in Mumbai
Second year: 20 selected students to go to Dubai, to participate in a fashion show, and showcase the apparel designed by them.
(Selection Criterion: Attendance and Performance during the course. Both attributes carry equal weightage)
- Practical exposure given to the students like backstage management of participation in fashion events.
- Teaching through – Workshops, outdoor sketching, interaction with artisans.
Admission Guidelines
The following Admission Guidelines are strictly adhered to by Renaissance University :-
- The minimum Prerequisite to apply for admissions in any of the Undergraduate programs is to achieve a 12th class passing certificate from any recognized board of India.
- The minimum Prerequisite for Foreign Nationals to apply for admissions in any of the Undergraduate programs is to achieve and submit an equivalent of 12th class passing certificate recognized in that country and meeting the equivalence criteria of 'Association of Indian University'.
- The Prerequisite to apply for admissions in any of the Postgraduate programs is to be a graduate from any recognized University of India.
- The Prerequisite for Foreign Nationals to apply for admissions in any of the Postgraduate programs is to submit a graduation degree awarded by a recognized University of that country and meeting the equivalence criteria of 'Association of Indian University'.
- The University reserves the final discretion with regards to the admission of a student.
- The admission criteria for the students of General Category will be different from students belonging to SC, ST or Other backward classes.
- The fees structure for Indian students and International students may vary.
- Renaissance University reserves the right to disqualify any student from the admission process who has not completed the age of 17 years.
