Eligibility Criteria:
- Women candidates with a Master’s Degree securing at least 55% of marks or equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) in the concerned subject or related allied subject from a recognized University/Institution.
- A relaxation of 5% marks is applicable for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PwD categories or those who obtained their Master’s Degree prior to September 19, 1991.
- Candidates with specific qualifications like UGC-NET/JRF, GATE, etc., are exempted from the Entrance Test.
- Applicants qualifying NET/JRF must submit the relevant category certificate along with the application form.
Application Process:
- Interested candidates should apply online through the University website.
- Applicants must thoroughly read the Ph.D. Admission Prospectus 2023-24 and follow the instructions for the online application process.
- Required documents/certificates should be uploaded online.
- A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 1000/- is to be paid online through Bank Challan.
- The application fee deposit slip (University Copy) with the reference number must be uploaded in the application portal.
- Hard copies of the application form will not be accepted.
- A print-out of the online generated application form should be retained for reference.
Selection Process:
- Eligible candidates (Entrance Qualified and Exempted Candidates) will be listed for the viva-voce examination.
- Selection is based on Career Score (50%) and Viva-Voce Score (50%).
- RDWU-Research Eligibility Test (RDWU-RET) is applicable to non-exempted candidates and serves as the qualifying examination.
- RDWU-RET syllabus includes research methodology and the respective subject’s Post Graduate syllabus.
- RDWU-RET consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) for 100 marks with no negative marking. Qualifying percentage is 50%.
RDWU-Research Eligibility Test (RDWU-RET):
- RDWU-RET is mandatory for non-exempted candidates and will be conducted at Rama Devi Women’s University, Bhubaneswar.
- The syllabus includes research methodology and the respective subject’s Post Graduate syllabus.
- Qualifying percentage is 50%.
Results:
- The Rama Devi Women’s University PhD Entrance 2024 Results will be announced on April 20, 2024, and updated on the University website.
