Eligibility Criteria
- College of Agriculture & College of Horticulture & Forestry:
- Master’s level: OCPA of 7.00 out of 10.00 or 70% marks
- Bachelor’s level: OCPA of 6.00 out of 10.00 or 60% marks
- College of Agricultural Engineering & Technology:
- M.Tech.: OCPA of 7.00 out of 10.00 or 70% marks
- Bachelor’s level: OCPA of 6.00 out of 10.00 or 60% marks
- College of Basic Sciences & Humanities:
- M.Sc.: OCPA of 7.00 out of 10.00 or 70% marks
- Bachelor’s level: OCPA of 6.00 out of 10.00 or 60% marks
- College of Community Science:
- Master’s level: OCPA of 7.00 out of 10.00 or 70% marks
- Graduation level: OCPA of 6.00 out of 10.00 or 60% marks (4-year degree)

Application Process
- Apply online through the PAU website www.pau.edu or obtain the prospectus offline from the PAU office.
- Completed application forms must reach the Registrar's office, Thapar Hall, PAU, Ludhiana 141004, on or before the due date.

- Incomplete forms or those received after the deadline will not be considered.
- Note: The University offers various scholarships, stipends, and fellowships.
Online Mode of Application
- Downloaded Prospectus Charges + Entrance Test Fee for each Test – Rs 3500/-
Selection Process
- Minimum 20% marks in the Entrance Test (with negative marking) in MCQ and Subjective tests individually are required to be called for Counseling/Interview.
Exam Pattern
- The question booklet will have two parts: Part-A and Part-B to be attempted in 3 hours.
- Weightage for Part-A and Part-B will be 60% and 20%, respectively.
- Part-A: 150 multiple choice questions (MCQs) on the OMR sheet (1 mark for correct answers, 1/4 marks deducted for wrong answers).
- Part-B: Two subjective type questions.
- Minimum 20% marks required in the Entrance Test to be called for Counseling/Interview in Part-A and Part-B, individually.
