Eligibility Criteria
- The LL.B Entrance Test welcomes candidates meeting the following criteria: Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks from either Panjab University or another institution recognized by both the Bar Council of India and Panjab University.
- For candidates with a Bachelor’s degree from Panjab University or an equivalent institution recognized by the Syndicate, who have taken exams in Modern Indian Languages (Hindi, Urdu, or Punjabi in Gurmukhi Script) and/or Classical Languages (Sanskrit, Persian, or Arabic), the 45% aggregate calculation excludes marks for additional optional papers, English, and elective subjects, considering only the percentage secured in language exams.
- SC/ST/BC/PwD candidates are eligible for a 5% concession in qualifying marks.

PU LLB Exam Pattern

The exam pattern was as follows
- Mode of Exam – The exam is a Offline test.
- Question type – The questions are Multiple-choice.
- Number of Questions – There are 100 questions in the entrance exam.
- Total Marks – Maximum marks in the exam is 100.
- Exam Duration – The entrance exam is of 1 hour and 30 minutes.
- Language of Question Paper – The question paper is in language English, Hindi and Punjabi (except for the portion “Reasoning Ability and Knowhttps://www.indcareer.com/en/law-entrance-exams/ledge of English” and Legal Aptitude”.
Marking Scheme –
- Candidates get +1 marks for correct answer.
- And negative marks is -1/4 for incorrect answers
