Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should meet the eligibility criteria to apply for the exam. The admission authority will not entertain the application of non-eligible candidates. Check the eligibility criteria of PULEET below:
- Candidates should have passed Diploma in Engineering of minimum three years duration with 60% (55% for SC/ST/BC/PwD) after class 10 with Physics and Mathematics or
- Candidates should have passed Diploma in Engineering (min. two years) with 60% (55% for SC/ST/BC/PwD) after Class 12 or
- Candidates who have passed DVoc from a Polytechnic college/institute with 60% (55% for SC/ST/BC/PwD) will be eligible for admission to the second year of BE program in the same stream only.
- Candidates should have cleared the compartment in Diploma in Engineering before applying for the exam.

For SC/ST/PwD Category – Rs.1260/-
Payment Method: Online via Debit card/Credit card/Net Banking.
Admission Procedure
- Admission would be made on the basis of merit obtained in the Entrance Examination PULEET-2026 conducted by the Panjab University, Chandigarh.
Exam Pattern
PULEET exam pattern gives an understanding of the exam type, total questions, marking scheme, exam duration, etc. The exam will be conducted for 1 hour 40 minutes wherein total 100 multiple-choice questions will be asked. Each question shall carry one mark whereas ¼ marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

Marking Scheme –
- Candidates get +1 marks for correct answer.
- And negative marks is -1/4 for incorrect answers
