Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for admission, candidates must meet the following qualifications/requirements:
- Possession of an MBBS degree.
- Minimum three years of experience as a General Duty Medical Officer (GDMOs) in the state Government Health Services across India, preferably in delivering Public Health Service, by June 30, 2024.
- Registration with the Central/State Medical Registration Council (if applicable).
Other Eligibility Conditions for Sponsored/Deputed Candidates:
Candidates applying as sponsored/deputed candidates must provide the following certificates along with their application through their employer/Sponsoring Authority:
- Confirmation of being an employee of the deputing/sponsoring authority for at least three years (by June 30 for the respective year).
- Commitment to being employed by the deputing/sponsoring authority for at least five years in the specialty trained at PGIMER, Chandigarh.
- Agreement that all financial obligations, including emoluments/stipends, will be the responsibility of the sponsoring authority.
- Deputation/sponsorship only accepted from specific entities such as Central or State Government Departments/Institutions, Autonomous Bodies of the Central or State Government, and Public sector colleges affiliated with universities recognized by the MCI.
