Candidates must have passed B.Tech/BE degree with a minimum aggregate of 55% from any recognized university or its equivalent. AMIE/AMIETE or similar qualifications are recognized as equivalent to a B.Tech degree.

Selection Criteria
Selection to M.Tech/ME courses is based on the merit/rank secured in GATE. If a sufficient number of GATE qualified candidates are not available the admissions are made on the basis of the Entrance Test conducted by the University/Government.
