The SVKM’s NMIMS School of Business Management (SBM), Mumbai, has initiated the registration process for its MBA in Business Analytics (MBA BA) program. Aspiring students can submit their applications through the official website, nmims.nmat.in.
This two-year MBA BA program is tailored to meet the growing demand for data-savvy professionals. The curriculum encompasses globally recognized study materials and practical assignments. Students enrolling in the program will have opportunities to engage in industry projects and internships, enhancing their practical knowledge.
The program features a ‘Capstone’ simulation project in the final trimester, enabling students to apply their learning in a real-world business scenario, preparing them for their professional careers. Students will also gain proficiency in industry-relevant tools such as Python, Tableau, SPSS, and more.
NMIMS highlighted that the 2021-23 batch saw the highest on-campus salary of Rs 26.13 lakhs per annum offered by Jio Platforms, with an average on-campus salary of Rs 17.85 lakhs per annum. Notably, 25 Fortune 500 companies participated in the placement drive, and there was an international offer from the Netherlands-based One2Ten company for the third consecutive year, offering a role in customer rating systems Power BI. Several new companies, including Jio Platform, BNY Mellon, Vodafone, General Mills, Marsh & McLennan, and PWC, hired for the first time for this batch. Major recruiters included Amazon, Cognizant, HCL, KPMG, Vodafone, and Yes Bank. NMIMS also reported that 30 percent of the batch secured Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) from their summer internship recruiters.
Graduates from previous batches secured various roles at prestigious companies, such as credit analysts, product analysts, lead consultants, data visualization specialists, consumer insights analysts, data science managers, business analytics associates, application engagement specialists, and market research analysts.
For the 2022-24 batch, summer placements featured the highest stipend of Rs. 1,60,000 for two months, offered by Yes Bank and Aditya Birla Capital. The average stipend increased by 20% to Rs. 73,000 for two months compared to the previous year, according to an official statement from NMIMS Mumbai.
