About Master of Fine Arts (Applied Arts) with Emphasis on Research
- Master of Fine Arts (Applied Arts) with Emphasis on Research is 2 year post graduate program that focuses on strengthening creative and cognitive powers of students and gives an edge over regular program with research quotient. It strikes a fine balance between, knowledge, skills and concepts for executing a successful communication solution within all areas of Applied Arts. On completion of this program a student will be able efficiently work within various areas of Applied Arts build a successful career. Along with practical understanding of visual design domain the course inculcates research attitude, study of art and cultural influences on modern designing, Yoga, Peace courses, Rural Immersion Project overall it has a holistic approach towards building not just a professional but a responsible citizen of modern society.

Eligibility Criteria
1. Maharashtra State (MS) Candidature
- Candidate should be an Indian Nationality
- Passed BFA / BVA (Applied Arts) Examination, passed from a UGC Recognised University. (OR)
- Passed its equivalent examination with 50% Marks in aggregate
- (45% in case of candidates of backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only)
2. Other Than Maharashtra (OMS) Candidature
- Candidate should be an Indian Nationality.
- Passed BFA / BVA (Applied Arts) Examination Passed its equivalent examination with 50% Marks in aggregate. (OR)
- Passed its equivalent examination with 50% Marks in aggregate
3. Foreign Nation / NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries
- BFA / BVA (Applied Arts) Subject to 70% or more matching of University Course Transcript. (OR)
- Its equivalent examination in any stream with 50% marks in aggregate. Subject to 70% or more matching of University Course Transcript.
Selection Criteria
The candidate must qualify for the Fine Arts PGPET conducted by MIT-WPU.
Fine Arts PGPET (Online)
- Round I: Statement of Purpose – 50 Marks
- Round II: Jury and Portfolio Review – 50 Marks
Admissions will be merit based.
