• Vacancies to the extent of maximum 50% shall be filled by Category I Candidates and the remaining 50% are to be filled by Category II Candidates. The unfilled Category I vacancies, if any, will be filled by Category II Candidates.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have obtained a Master’s degree in the concerned or allied subjects are eligible to apply, subject to other eligibility criteria as prescribed in the MGU Ph.D. Rules & Regulations. The list of allied subjects is as follows:

1. Biochemistry:
   • M.Sc./ M.Phil./ Ph.D. in Chemistry/ Microbiology /Genetics /Life Sciences /Biological Sciences /Agriculture Biochemistry / Pharmacy/ Biotechnology/Applied Nutrition/ Veterinary Science/ Forensic Science.
2. Biotechnology:
   • M.Sc./ M.Phil. /M.E./ M.Tech. programmes in Botany/ Zoology/ Genetics /Microbiology / Bio-Sciences /Life Sciences /Agricultural Sciences /Plant Sciences /Animal Sciences /Environmental Botany /Veterinary Sciences / Forensic Science/ Environmental Sciences/ Marine Biology /Pharmacy /M.D. and M.S (Medical faculty)
3. Business Management:
   • PG in Commerce/ Economics/ Psychology/ Statistics
4. Chemistry:
   • M.Sc. in Biochemistry/ M.Tech. in Chemical Technology, M.Sc. in Forensic Science/ M.Pharmacy.
5. Commerce:
   • PG in Business Management
6. Computer Science & Informatics:
   • M.C.A./M.Tech. (Computer Science/IT/Software Engg.)
7. Mathematics:
   • M.Sc. Applied Mathematics/Mathematics with Computer Sciences/ Statistics/ Applied Statistics.

The filled-in application with the related documents should be sent to the Deputy Registrar I (Academic), Mahtama Gandhi University, Anneparthy, Nalgonda Telangana State – 508 254, on or before last date.

Registration Fee

• Registration Fee for Category I Candidates is Rs 2000/- to be paid through
• Challan. For Category II Candidates, the Registration Fee is Rs Rs 2500/- (Rs
• 1800/- for SC / ST/ PH Candidates).
