Government of Maharashtra has established a State Common Entrance Test Cell
(CET CELL) under Admission Regulating Authority (ARA) as per the provision
in Section 10 of Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions and Fees) Act, 2015, (Herein after called the Act). The Competent Authority shall conduct the Online MAH-MCA-CET for admission to first year/ direct second year (separate division & lateral entry) of two-year full time post graduate degree course in Master of Computer Applications (MCA), for Academic Year 2025-26.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:
The candidate must be an Indian National.
They should have:
Passed B.C.A or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or B.Sc (IT) or B.E. (CSE) or B.Tech (CSE) or B.E. (IT) or B.Tech. (IT) or an equivalent Degree with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% for candidates from Backward Class categories, economically weaker sections, and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State);
OR
Hold any graduation degree (e.g., B.E. or B.Tech or B.Sc or B.Com or B.A. or B.Voc. etc) preferably with Mathematics at 10+2 Level or at Graduation Level (with additional bridge Courses as per the norms of the concerned University) and obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for candidates of Reserved categories, Economically Weaker Section, and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State). Candidates appearing for the final year of the qualifying examination are also eligible to appear for the CET.
MAH MAH-MCA CET Examination Fee
Application form processing fee as stated below is to be paid through online system only by Internet Payment, Credit Card/ Debit Card (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets for which the service charges, as per rules, shall be applicable in addition to the application form processing fee. No other mode of payment shall be permitted. This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.

The exam pattern was as follows

- Number of Questions – There are 100 questions in the entrance exam.
- Total Marks – Maximum marks in the exam is 200.
- Exam Duration – The entrance exam is of 90 Minutes.
- Language of Question Paper – The question paper is in language English.
Marking Scheme –
- Candidates get +2 marks for correct answer.
- And negative marks is 0 for incorrect answers
