Eligibility Criteria:
For Undergraduate (UG) Programs: Completion of Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent examination with the relevant subject.
For Postgraduate (PG) Courses: Completion of Graduation or its equivalent in the respective disciplines.
For MBA and MTTM Programs: A Bachelor’s degree, three or four years in duration, or its equivalent in any field from a University or Institute recognized by law and acknowledged as equivalent by this University, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) is required for admission to the MBA programs. Candidates currently undertaking the qualifying examination may apply for admission, provided they meet all eligibility criteria on the day of admission.
For MEd Program: Applicants must hold a B.Ed./B.A.-B.Ed./B.Sc.-B.Ed./B.El.Ed./D.El.Ed. with an undergraduate degree or a recognized BTC or LT diploma, or its equivalent, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a University established by law and recognized by the University Grants Commission.

Application Process:
Candidates are required to apply for the admission test online by visiting the official website at https://www.lkouniv.ac.in/. Below are the steps to follow:
Step 1 – Registration: Applicants must fill in the relevant details in the provided form. These fields cannot be edited later. Upon registration, applicants will receive their login credentials on the mobile number and email ID provided during registration.
Step 2 – Personal Details: Applicants need to enter their personal information.
Step 3 – Educational Qualifications: Applicants should fill in their educational qualifications. Those who are in the final year of their qualifying examination must provide their roll number and University details.
Step 4 – Upload Photo and Signature: Applicants must upload their photo and scanned signature.
Step 5 – Preview: Applicants can review all the entries made at this stage. If there are any errors, they can edit them or restart the entire process.
Step 6 – Application Fee: The application fee can be submitted through Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking.
Step 7 – Print Application Form: Applicants can print their complete application form and fee receipt to finalize the application process.

Admission Process:
For Undergraduate (UG) Courses: Admissions to faculties such as Arts, Commerce, Law, Science, Education, Fine Arts, Yoga, Medicine, and Diploma in Pharmacy are based on marks obtained in the Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) conducted by the University.
For MBA/MTTM Programs: Candidates interested in the MBA/MTTM program are selected through the Lucknow University Management Entrance Test (LUMET) 2022. This is followed by a personal interview, where the written component (LUMET) holds a 70% weightage and the personal interview holds a 30% weightage in the overall merit calculation.
For BPEd/MPEd Programs: Admission to these courses is based on marks obtained in the entrance exam, physical fitness test, game proficiency test, and interview.
For MEd Program: Admission to the M.Ed. program is based on a written test, academic index weightage, and interview.
For MVA/MFA Programs: Admissions to the MVA/MFA courses are based on a written examination, practical examination (Object drawing – Pencil light and shade), and interview.
Entrance Exam Pattern:
For U.G. Courses: The entrance test consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with 100 questions, each carrying 2 marks. There is no negative marking, and the duration is 90 minutes.
Syllabus varies according to the program, covering subjects such as Hindi, English, Geography, History, Civics, Psychology, Economics, Commerce, Accounting, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Legal General Awareness, General Knowledge, General English, Numerical Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, and more.
For MBA/MTTM Programs: LUMET comprises 100 objective type questions covering General Awareness, English Verbal Ability and Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude. Each question carries 2 marks, and no marks are deducted for incorrect answers.
For BPEd. Programs: The entrance test consists of 100 multiple choice questions to be answered in 90 minutes. The final merit is out of 200 marks, including 100 marks for the written test, 50 marks for the physical fitness test, and 40 marks for the game proficiency test.
MPEd Exam Pattern:
The entrance test consists of 100 multiple-choice questions to be completed within 90 minutes. The final merit is calculated out of 200 marks as follows:
- Written Test: 100 Marks
- Physical Fitness Test: 50 Marks
- Game Proficiency: 30 Marks
- Marks obtained in B.P.Ed.: 10 Marks
- Interview: 10 Marks
MEd Exam Pattern:
