The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) in Telangana has announced the commencement of the second phase of web-based counseling for MBBS admissions under the Competent Authority Quota for the academic year 2023-24. This phase is for the allotment of vacant seats after the first phase of counseling.
Candidates who have been listed in the provisional final merit list of MBBS/BDS admissions on the KNRUHS website are eligible to participate in the web-options exercise. However, there are certain conditions to be met. Those who have been allotted seats in the first phase but have not reported or discontinued the course are not eligible. Candidates who did not exercise web options in the first phase are also not eligible. On the other hand, candidates who were allotted MBBS seats in the first phase and are currently enrolled in the course are eligible and are encouraged to exercise web options.
It is important to note that candidates admitted in the first phase are not allowed to withdraw or discontinue from the course after being allotted a seat in the second phase of counseling. Therefore, they are advised to carefully consider their decision before participating in the second phase.
UNIVERSITY FEE
In terms of fees, allotted candidates are required to pay a University fee of Rs.12,000/- for the MBBS course through the online payment method.
Candidates who have already paid the University fee in the first phase do not need to pay again. Additionally, tuition fees vary depending on the type of college.
TUITION FEE:
Tuition fee is to be paid at respective Medical colleges as follows.
Government medical colleges charge Rs.10,000/- per year, while private non-minority/minority/ESI medical colleges charge Rs.60,000/- per year.
All the eligible candidates whose names are displayed in the Provisional final merit list including PWD, CAP and EWS quota candidates on KNRUHS website can exercise web options for admission into MBBS seats from 08.00 A.M. on 30.08.2023 to 1.00 P.M. on 01.09.2023 through website https://tsmedadm.tsche.in/
