• Commencement of online applications: 29th September 2023
• Last Date for applying online: 14th October 2023
• Conduct of Interview: 20th October & 21st October 2023
• Declaration of list of Selected Candidates: 31st October 2023
• Last date of verification of Documents: 14th November 2023
• Last date of payment of fees: 30th November 2023

Eligibility Criteria:

The eligibility criteria for the PhD program vary based on the field of study. Here are the general criteria:

For Engineering, Architecture, Science, Management, and Social Sciences:

• A Master’s Degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum CGPA of 6.75 out of 10 or First class at either the Bachelor’s or the Master’s level.

For PhD in Law:

• A Master’s degree in Law or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks in aggregate (relaxation for reserved categories).
• Or, an M.Phil degree in Law with at least 55% marks in aggregate and an undergraduate degree in Law (LL.B) (relaxation for reserved categories).

Application Process:

• Fill the application online: KLE Technological University PhD Application Portal
• Take a printout of the filled form and get it attested.
• Pay the application fee of Rs. 1500/- through a DD drawn in favor of “Registrar, KLE Technological University” payable at Hubballi.
• Submit the application form with DD and required enclosures to the address mentioned in the official notification.

Selection Process:

• Admission will be based on the score obtained in the Research Entrance Test (RET) conducted by the University.

Scholarship:

• Deserving full-time research scholars may be considered for fellowships up to Rs. 25,000/- per month for 3 years, based on defined criteria.
