Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Must have passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination from a recognized board (or 10+1 prior to 1986).
- Professional Requirement: Must have passed a General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course and hold a valid registration as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (R.N.R.M.) with the State Nurses Registration Council.
- Male Candidates: Male nurses trained before the integrated course must show evidence of INC-approved training in a relevant specialty (e.g., OT Techniques, Ophthalmic, Psychiatric Nursing, etc.) in lieu of Midwifery.
- Medical Fitness: Candidates must be physically and medically fit.
- Domicile / Residence: Preference is given to local residents of Jharkhand. Non-residents are considered only if seats remain vacant after counseling.
