JCECE Exam Pattern
Mode of Exam: The exam is conducted in a Pen and Paper Based format.
Question Type: All questions are of Objective type.
Number of Questions: Each section of the entrance exam consists of 50 questions.
Total Marks: The maximum marks for each section As per JCECEBare 50.
Exam Duration: The duration of the entrance exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes for PCM and PCB groups, and 3 hours and 20 minutes for the PCMB group.
Language of Question Paper: The question paper is available in both English and Hindi languages.
Marking Scheme: Candidates receive +1 mark for each correct answer and incur a penalty of -1/4 mark for each incorrect answer.
