Bihar ITICAT 2026 Exam Date

Eligibility

• Candidates must be at least 14 years old as stipulated by the authorities. For applications related to mechanic tractor and motor mechanic vehicle, the minimum age requirement is 17 years old. However, there is no age limit for retired army officers.
• Candidates should have successfully completed class X with Science and Mathematics from any school recognized by BSBE or CBSE.
• The candidate must be a citizen of India.
• Only candidates whose parents/husband/wife are permanent residents, refugees, or government employees in Bihar will be eligible for the exam.

Application Process:

1. Candidates need to register themselves by filling out the registration form available on the website: https://bceceboard.bihar.gov.in/.
2. Provide your registered email ID and mobile number.
3. Upon registration, you will receive an SMS confirming your registration.
4. After completing the registration form, candidates can proceed to pay the fees online using net banking, debit/credit card, or through a bank challan.
5. Once the payment is made, candidates can log in to the website again using their registration number and password to complete the rest of the form.
6. Finally, click the submit button to complete the process.

Application Fee:

• General/OBC Category: Rs. 750/-
• PWD Category: Rs. 430/-
• SC/ST Category: Rs. 100/- Mode of Payment: Through Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card.

Selection Process: Selection will be based on the scores obtained in the entrance test.

Bihar ITICAT Exam

The exam pattern is as follows

• Mode of Exam – The exam  is a Offline test.
• Question type – The questions are Objective.
• Number of Questions – There are 150 questions in the entrance exam.
• Total Marks – Maximum marks in the exam is 300.
• Exam Duration – The entrance exam is of 2 hours 15 minutes.
• Language of Question Paper – The question paper is in language English and Hindi.

Marking Scheme – 

• Candidates get +2 marks for correct answer.
• And negative marks is 0 for incorrect answers
