The INI SS 2026 examination will be conducted on 22 November 2025 for the Jan 2026 session. Its application form has released. The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has announced the date for the Institute of National Importance Super Speciality (INI SS) 2026 exam. INI SS is a national-level medical entrance exam conducted by AIIMS for admission to DM, M.Ch., and MD (Hospital Administration) courses at AIIMS, PGIMER, JIPMER, NIMHANS, and SCTIMST.
Moreover, purpose of this exam is to do admission in AIIMS, PGIMER, JIPMER, NIMHANS, SCTIMST in DM, M.Ch., MD Hospital Administration. The entrance test for admission into DM/M.Ch./MD Hospital Administration Courses at
Institutes of National Importance (INI) for Medical Education namely, AIIMS-New Delhi
and all new AIIMS, JIPMER-Puducherry, PGIMER-Chandigarh, NIMHANS-Bengaluru and
Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences & Technology- Thiruvananthapuram is
held twice in a year for January and July session of respective year. The common entrance
test is known as Institute of National Importance Super-Specialty Entrance Test (INI-SS).

INI SS 2026 Eligibility
M.D./DNB this Institute or any other University or equivalent degree recognized by the NMC, M.S. degree in Surgery/General Surgery, M.S./DNB degree in Surgery/General Surgery.
Upper Age limit is 35 years as on 1st January, 2026, i.e. Born on or after 01.01.1990
INI SS 2026 Application Fee
All Applicants Rs.4000/- + Transaction Charges as applicable (Non-refundable) PWBD Exempted
Note:-
- The applicant can pay the prescribed application fee through DEBIT CARD/ CREDIT CARD/ NETBANKING.
- Transaction /Processing fee, if any, as applicable, will be payable to the respective bank etc. by the applicant.
- Application fees once remitted shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
- If due to any reason, application fee is paid more than once against one application form, the additional payments shall be refunded to applicants after verification& completion of examination process.
- Applications without the prescribed fee shall not be accepted and summarily rejected.
