About
COGJET is a joint entrance test for admission into postgraduate programs in cognitive science at IIT Kanpur, CBCS Allahabad, IIIT Hyderabad, Panjab University Chandigarh.
Any student who has completed their 3yr/4yr UG degree, or expects to finish the degree by June 2021 is eligible to write the COGJET exam. COGJET 2021, like earlier COJET exams, is an enabling exam. Each candidate who appears for the exam will get a performance card giving the candidate’s score on the exam. Individual institutes/ universities participating in the exam are free to use the score in any way they wish in their admission process.

Eligibility Criteria
- Any student who has completed their 3yr/4yr UG degree, or expects to finish the degree by June 2021 is eligible.
- Students who have a Bachelor’s degree (e.g. B.A., B.Sc., B.Tech, BCom, MBBS) in any discipline with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks for General/OBC category candidates and at least 50% aggregate marks for SC, ST and PD category candidates in the qualifying degree, are eligible to apply
- Students who will be completing a Bachelor’s degree in the academic year 2020-2021 are also eligible to apply.
Application Process
- Interested Candidates can apply online mode only through the official website https://oag.iitk.ac.in/
- Only Indian citizens should apply using the website. If you are a foreign citizen please send an email to [email protected] giving your background details to see if you are eligible.
Steps to be followed for Application :
| Step 1 | Register on the website then use the login ID, password you created to login. |
| Step 2 | Fill the application form and it has 5 sections then submit. |
| Step 3 | Upload necessary documents. |
| Step 4 | Pay the application fee using the payment gateway. |
| Step 5 | Check all details and submit your application. |

Admit Card
- The candidates can download the Admit Card from the website https://www.iitk.ac.in/.
- Admit cards will only be released for the candidates who have submitted the application form on or before the last date. Admit card contains the important details regarding the exams like examination time, venue and instruction which candidates must follow during the examination time.

Syllabus
The question paper shall be based on the knowledge of psychology, Neuroscience, Mathematics and Programming. A sample research paper and questions are available on the site.
