Dual Degree Programme (B.Tech + Master IIITH UGEE 2025 Exam Dateof Science by Research)
B.Tech and Master of Science in Electronics and Communication Engineering by Research
ECE is conceived at IIIT-H to be a mixture of hardware and software arena and divides much with the EE-CS programs. The ECE courses are drafted in such a way to have a balanced blend of courses from different fields viz. ECE, CSE, Maths, Science. As a whole, a student must cover a total of 177 courses/projects and 24 theses which will be equal to 201 credits in the ECD program.
B Tech and Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering by Research
This is a 5 year integrated course offered to exemplary undergraduate students at the end of the 3rd year. Students will have to enrol for extra courses at the end of the 3rd year and complete the 1st year which will be in equivalence with the MS by Research program, while in the 4th year of the undergraduate program.
B.Tech in Computer Science and Master of Science in Computational Linguistics by Research (5 years Dual Degree)
The First 2 Years of the program enables the students to construct a strong base, both in Computer Science as well as in Linguistics. Once the base is prepared through core courses in the first 4 semesters, CLD activities allow a student the ease to pursue, choose her/his specialization of research and pursue courses to build the command in the stream in the last 2 years. The optional subjects in different streams give that opportunity.
B.Tech in Computer Science and Master of Science in Computing and Human Sciences by Research (5 years Dual Degree)
The first 2 years will include most of the mandatory courses which will build the base in both computer science as well as human sciences. Students will be having some sought of choices in optional courses from the 3rd year to help them to stay focus on their field of research. The computer science courses will adorn the students with programming skills, make use of conventional language, engage in tedious data, and expand ML and AI results.
Exam Pattern
The question paper of the International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad Undergraduate Entrance Examination will be as per the exam pattern.

This exam has two sections:
- a) Subject Proficiency test (SUPR) – Subject Proficiency test for 60 minutes.
- b) Research Aptitude test (REAP) – Research Aptitude test for 120 minutes.
- Mode of Exam – The exam is a computer-based test.
- Exam Duration – The entrance exam is of SUPR of 60 minutes, REAP of 120 minutes.
