About
IHM Auranagabad Entrance Exam : The Institute of Hotel Management, Aurangabad was set up with the joint efforts of Dr. Rafiq Zakaria’s – Maulana Azad Educational Trust and Taj Group with aim to create high quality centre in hospitality education. The Indian hotel chain Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces provides technical assistance for the course. Selected candidates are offered with training/internship at Vivanta by Taj – Aurangabad.

Eligibility Criteria
=> Applicant should have passed high school examination.
=> Applicant should have intermediate examination in any stream with English asthe medium of instruction.
=> Applicants, who are pursuing last year of intermediate examination and result is awaited, are also eligible to apply for IHM Aurangabad entrance test.
Admission Procedure
After electronic profiling assessment test, all candidates will participate in Group Discussion and Personal Interview, writing 1500 word Statement of Purpose (SOP) on their perspective on the role this education at IHM-A would play in shaping their future by creating a vibrant personality who would succeed in the hospitality world. GD and PI rounds are scheduled to be held at Institute of Hotel Management, Dr Rafiq Zakaria Campus, Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India. Candidates will be shortlisted on a collective assessment of candidates’ scores in each three stages. Profiling assessment test carries 20% weightage, Statement of Purpose and Group Discussion carries 30% weightage and Personal Interview carries 50% weightage.
