Applications are now open for admission to the M.Phil. Clinical Psychology (2 Years Hospital Based Full Time) Course at the Institute of Human Behavior & Allied Sciences (IHBAS), Delhi. The course is affiliated with the University of Delhi and recognized by RCI for the academic session 2024-25.

- Total Number of Seats – 11 (Gen – 05, SC – 02, ST – 01, OBC – 02, and EWS – 01)
- Reservation to PwD category will be applicable as per Govt. norms.
Important Dates:
- Last date of submission of application: March 31, 2024
- Publication of List of Eligible Candidates on Institute’s website: April 3, 2024
- Date of Entrance Examination: April 7, 2024 (Sunday)
- Date of Admission and commencement of session: April 11, 2024
Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum educational requirement for admission to this course is a 2-year M.A./M.Sc. degree in Psychology from a university recognized by the UGC with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. For reservation categories, a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate is essential, as per GOI.
Application Process:
- Candidates can download the prescribed application form from the official website: www.ihbas.delhi.gov.in
- The duly filled in application form along with all necessary documents should be sent to the office of “Head, Department of Clinical Psychology, Room No-122, Academic Block, 1st Floor, IHBAS, Dilshad Garden, Delhi-110095” only by registered/speed post or delivered personally on or before March 31, 2024.
- Applications sent through email/online submissions will not be accepted.
- Director, IHBAS, invites applications on prescribed application form available on the website www.ihbas.delhi.gov.in for admission to M.Phil. Clinical Psychology (two years hospital based full time) Course.
- Note: Candidates who had applied in the year 2022 need not apply again. Their application will be considered for the 2024 entrance examination.
Application Fee:
- Rs. 3000/- for General candidates.
- For reserved category candidates, the application fee will be Rs. 1500/-. The application fee is to be deposited to the IHBAS Bank Account. The complete form will be submitted along with the application fee through Net Banking/Online Banking. The application fee is non-refundable/non-adjustable.

Documents:
- The documents required to be enclosed with the application are: (a) Self-attested copy of mark sheet of M.A./M.Sc. final examination, (b) SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD certificate as applicable (c) copy of fee deposit slip or SBI collect reference number. Application received without application fee or any other aforesaid documents will not be entertained.
Tuition/ Examination Fee:
- Tuition/Examination fee will be charged as per the University of Delhi rules and payable to the University of Delhi (Details are available in the prospectus).
Stipend:
- IHBAS will pay stipend to the selected candidates @ Rs. 25000/- per month. Prospectus: Prospectus with all the details is available on the Institute’s website.
